Programme Management
KKP supports a range of clients to deliver specific long-term projects and programmes and has proven project management capacity, sports development expertise and success building and maintaining vital relationships across the sector.
The most prominent example of this work is Clubmark which KKP managed on behalf of Sport England between 2006 – 2013. Over this period the number of licensed accrediting bodies rose from X – Y and the quantity of accredited clubs from 1,400 to more than 14,000.
In a comparable vein, over a three year period, we also assisted Sport Northern Ireland to create, develop and embed the Clubmark NI accreditation scheme. Other long term projects/ programmes managed include:
- Sports Volunteering North West – for an 18 month period driving strategic development, operational delivery and regional events.
- Supporting the Cornwall Sports Partnership to implement CSN delivery in its six local areas.
- Development, implemented and management of the RFU Beacon Clubs programme.
- Long-term interim management of the London Docklands Sailing Centre; concurrently dealing with corporate governance and financial recovery – then appointing successor staff.
