Steven Wright BSc (Hons) Principal Consultant/Director
A Coaching and Sports Development graduate from Manchester Metropolitan University, Steven joined KKP in April 2014 to work on its expanding playing pitch and indoor and built facility strategy portfolio. In so doing, he manages to combine his personal and professional experience working and participating in sport providing an effective platform for his role of senior consultant at the company.
He is KKP’s lead specialist on mitigation studies and golf needs assessments. He worked on mitigation strategies delivered for Solihull, South Tyneside and Cheshire East.
An experienced amateur sportsman, Steven is confident, highly motivated, and has excellent communication skills. He has played and coached football to a high level, and has also competed in other sports, such as cricket and golf, showing he has a specific, personal knowledge in regards to grass roots participation.
Before joining KKP, Steven held an internship position at Stoke City Football Club, allowing him to increase his knowledge and gain experience working within a professional sporting environment. Here, he was able to enhance his high level analytical skills, and successfully present his findings to large audiences on a daily basis.
Steven also has an extensive background in customer services, enhancing his capacity skill in building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients, stakeholders, clubs and voluntary groups.
