Jonathan Gaukroger BA (Hons) Senior Consultant
Jonathan is an experienced and enthusiastic consultant who works on a wide range of assignments gathering, analysed and translating into report form, both qualitative and quantitative data. He runs audit and consultation processes on PPS assignments bringing his analytical expertise into play on database generation, supply and demand assessment, consultation and strategy development. His work organisation is excellent and is accompanied by his strong ability and experience building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, clients and clubs.
His consultancy expertise is underpinned and enhanced by his prior role with Burnley FC where he worked as a Facilities and Accommodation Officer. This role enabled him to enhance his customer relationship skills and develop a working understanding of a growing sports business. A key personal strength is his humour and perseverance; built upon his customer relations experience as, prior to working in facilities, he spent several successful years working in retail as a sales adviser
Having graduated from the UCFB with a Degree in Football Business and Media. Jonathan was part of the first cohort of students, internationally, to obtain this unique qualification; which included gaining work experience in World famous footballing institutes, such as Wembley Stadium (and Turf Moor!). His distinctive degree has allowed him to gain a working understanding of global sports and how they operate from various stakeholders’ perspectives. Throughout his studies he worked voluntarily at his local grassroots football club and he fully understands the work done and pressure faced by volunteers plus the various problems and issues a club have to deal with on a daily basis.
