Performance management and market intelligence
Performance management is the effective use of (internally generated and externally sourced) management information to inform policy, service planning evaluation and investment.
We support many agencies in this field. Our client base has grown, in part since the advent of Best Value and CPA/CAA in the public sector, and because we have become the market leaders in this area. Our varied portfolio of successful projects includes:
- Pricing strategy - we supported Blackpool BC to develop and specify its management information requirements (for residents and customers) to drive information, pricing and subsidy targeting strategy for leisure services... more
- Wellness systems - we worked with the Trafford Community Leisure Trust and the PCT to model and develop the system to establish and target an innovative wellness programme supported by in situ card distribution mechanisms and performance recording processes across other council, health and schools-based services...more
- Demonstrating impact - baseline data and intelligence collected for CBC Bridgend has assisted it to demonstrate the value of, and refine mechanisms to improve, youth participation and to invest in new facilities...more
- Influencing national strategies - our work for the Amateur Boxing Association of England used data to improve understanding of drivers and barriers to inform its whole sport plan and influence the way it works - both internally and with partners.
- LAA stretch targets - working for the Oldham Cultural Partnership, we developed a multi stage performance management system to monitor the impact and progress of the Authority's targets for increasing participation in the arts and creative activities...more
Our bank of resources (including GIS mapping, Mosaic and market research capability) enables us to ensure that robust systems are developed to illustrate and assess outcomes and value for money.
The key to success – understanding customers, markets, users and non-users to drive decision-making.
