Forensic analysis

Either in the context of supporting a client to assess and confirm the viability of a proposal or on an investigative basis evaluating whether grant conditions or value for money has been obtained, we conduct forensic analysis of key projects, programmes and organisations:

  • Outdoor Basketball Initiative - working for Sport England, we conducted a detailed evaluation of the delivery and value of the Initiative, interrogating product and process costs, value for money, scheme management and the roles, interests, inputs and profits being made by the various partners involved.
  • Holme Pierrpont National Sports Centre - to underpin the transfer of leases back from Sport England to Nottinghamshire County Council, we conducted a due diligence exercise on plans for the future development of the complex and the most suitable legal status of the management vehicle proposed.
  • London Docklands Sailing Centre - we were employed by Sport England, which had made a major capital investment in the centre, to investigate financial and operational management, and following this to interim manage and oversee the introduction of a new board and management staff.
  • World of Rugby - since delivering the initial feasibility, we have been retained by the Rugby Town Centre Development Company to further develop the business plan and prepare financial models reflecting a range of facility combinations and scenarios for the project.
