KKP's strategies secure more than £1m for the development of children's play.


Derwentside District Council (DDC) has commissioned Knight, Kavanagh & Page (KKP) to undertake an open space, sport and recreational facilities needs assessment for the district.  Alongside this KKP will also manage the strategic consultation for a Play Strategy...


Provision for children and young people


As part of Knight, Kavanagh & Page's commitment to customer satisfaction, the consultants regularly contact clients to understand the successful outcomes that result from the services provided.


KKP's work in developing a play strategy for West Lancashire focused on improving overall quality of life.


Knight, Kavanagh & Page produced a business plan for skateboarding in St Ives, with the aim of identifying how skateboard provision could be safe, challenging and accessible.


KKP developed a play and urban games strategy for North Tyneside to reflect increased engagement in ‘street sports' amongst young people.


In 2003, KKP was charged with tackling the challenges Sunderland City Council faced with its play services and to develop a 10 year strategy and action plan.


Knight, Kavanagh & Page supported Derby City Council to secure over £225,000 of funding for street sports facilities in the most deprived communities of Derby.
