Visitor facilities options appraisal

Berwick-upon-Tweed Borough Council has commissioned Knight, Kavanagh & Page (KKP) to investigate the management options with regard to the operation of visitor facilities at Beadnell Bay. The appraisal will extend beyond basic fiscal comparisons and evaluate management options for the service in the context of its social value, implications for the local tourism economy, environment and the attractiveness of the Borough to residents and visitors, and the ongoing health and safety concerns associated with the operation.

This is a project that KKP is well placed to deliver, complementing the current work the Company is conducting for the Council, assessing the management options for the Swan Centre. The project is also a valuable addition to KKP's portfolio, applying its understanding of the issues and challenges to be considered when assessing management options to this specialist field of coastal watersport provision.
