The ILEX Urban Regeneration Company working in partnership with Derry City Council has commissioned Knight Kavanagh & Page (KKP) to deliver an assessment of the potential for sport-induced regeneration in the City. The Company will analyse the current level and range of provision of sports facilities and services as well as considering potential future need and demand for sports facilities and identify optimal provision to meet resident and tourism demand. It will also evaluate the economic and social costs and benefits that could result from the planned investment in sports infrastructure.
KKP has a reputation for developing and supporting project implementation and an excellent track record in, and extensive experience of, managing regeneration-led, sport, leisure, physical activity and cultural feasibility audits and strategies. It has also conducted a wide range of feasibility study assignments for community regeneration and sports projects and has supported a range of agencies to research and submit applications for external funding support.
