KKP - Quality as standard

ISO 9001 logoKKP is celebrating its recent ISO9001 accreditation. ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. It applies to the processes that create and control the products and services an organisation supplies.

In the contemporary business climate, commissioning agencies are increasingly likely to demand quality assurance from their suppliers. ISO provides this assurance.

It denotes that the Company has in place a systematic control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met by demonstrating:

  • a commitment to quality, customers, and a willingness to work towards improving efficiency.
  • the existence of an effective quality management system that satisfies the rigours of an independent, external audit.

A detailed review of the processes and procedures that underpin operational management at KKP confirmed that our established working practices are robust and effective. The external audit (completed at the end of October 2007) concluded that KKP met and exceeded the required standards in all areas of its work and the inspectors involved were unable to find any examples of non-compliance.
