Management consultants Knight Kavanagh & Page (KKP) has been appointed by the Hathershaw & Fitton Hill New Deal for Communities to deliver a community facilities study and two linked feasibility studies; one for a neighbourhood centre incorporating community and health amenities, linked to a school, the other a sports facility. KKP will, working closely with NDC staff, manage a comprehensive assessment of the need for community facilities in the area, matching this with an evaluation of existing and planned provision. The work to be undertaken will underpin the preparation of a detailed strategy for the NDC area and the development of the community facilities proposed.
