In October 2011 Kirsty celebrated a decade working at KKP, just a month after being promoted to Senior Consultant.
Having starting in a general support role in October 2001, over the last ten years Kirsty has worked her way up through a hierarchy of positions and accumulated impressive knowledge and awareness across a wide variety of disciplines, making her one of KKP's most experienced consultants.
As senior consultant, Kirsty now has increased responsibility to lead assignments, more direct contact with clients and direct personal accountability for project delivery.
Her skill set encompasses project management, research and plan creation, and she is particularly highly regarded for her expertise in playing pitch strategies; a fact that her tally of almost 30 company commissions is a testament to.
Kirsty is also proficient in managing stakeholder and community consultation and as an enthusiastic and professional facilitator. She is adept at encouraging individuals and groups to self reflect and challenge perceptions. Her work in this area encompasses settings such as parish councils through to meeting senior industry figures and she has experience in both inner-urban and deep-rural communities.
Her organisational skills are unmatched and she brings strong analytical and problem solving skills to her work. The span of her expertise across the Company's portfolio affords her the versatility to provide value on projects for a variety of clients.
In the context of KKP's status as a Sport England Strategic Framework partner for playing pitch strategies, Kirsty is a key member of the Playing Pitch Strategy team.
She is presently the lead consultant producing a playing pitch strategy for Wolverhampton City Council and her current clients in the same field include North Lanarkshire, a consortium of three central Lancashire local authorities and the FA St George's Park project.
Among her personal commitments, Kirsty is approaching her first year's service as a Rounders England non-executive board director; this strategically oversees everything the body does from approving policy and decisions to offering guidance where needed. She also sits on the NGB's Participation and Young People's Sub Committee.
