A veteran with fifteen plus years operational and strategic experience in sport and leisure, Jonathan manages KKP's South West office. While at KKP he has led, regionally and nationally, on more than 60 commissions ranging from physical activity strategies, sport and cultural facilities assessments, funding and investment assignments to programme evaluations.

As KKP's lead consultant on needs assessments as part of Sport England's Strategic Planning Framework for Sport, he has also managed 18 studies of open spaces, built facilities and playing pitches in the last six years.

In addition to his eleven years working as a consultant, his career has taken him through practical conservation and community development. Aside from the ‘day job', Jonathan is a respected community leader and is a trustee and board member of Volunteer Cornwall, which co-ordinates several initiatives and three volunteer centres.

Jonathan is a founding board member and was recently elected Chairman of Carrick Leisure Limited, which is to operate 19 leisure facilities and a multi-purpose entertainments venue in Cornwall. Carrick Leisure, which already operated leisure centres in Truro and Falmouth plus the Princess Pavilion in Falmouth on behalf of Cornwall Council, was appointed in October 2011 as the preferred operator to run the service; the new arrangement officially started on 1st December.

Newly appointed Chairman , Jonathan stated:
