The team at KKP recently surprised projects manager, Cristina Bianco-Lynn with a buffet lunch to help her celebrate ten years with the Company.
When she started, in May 1998, it consisted of founder, John Eady and four other staff. Taking the terms of her brief literally, she whipped them into shape and started to develop the project and financial management systems that still underpin Company operation today.
Over the last ten years, she has witnessed many changes; from expansion of the Company's project portfolio and staff to the impact of the revolution in information technology.
Long-standing clients may remember that in 1998, KKP operated from a small leased premises in the centre of Bury with limited space, desks, access to internet and email. After two moves to house expanding staff numbers, it now operates from its own, modern HQ in the town plus offices in other parts of the country.
Reminiscing over her time at KKP, Cristina said,
"We have seen many changes over the last 10 years. What has, however, been constant throughout is the desire to build strong, trust-based relationships with our clients and to be respected for doing what we believe in.
This philosophy applies to all who work at KKP. Testament to this is the number of long serving staff members and the level of retained expertise among both consultants and technical support staff. Racking up combined service of more than 75 years the majority have been with the Company for more than five.
John Eady said,
"KKP has come a long way over the last ten years and Cristina's input has been key to this. In addition to running Company finance, projects and administration, she is often the first point of contact with clients. I am sure that many of them will join me in taking this opportunity to thank her for her drive, professionalism and dedication to the cause."
