Via a combination of strategic advice and practical campaign management, KKP's in-house marketing experts are assisting Salford Community Leisure to launch an innovative new scheme.
Five new football pitches have been built at Salford Sports Village on a former training pitch and tarmac area, Funded by a £50,000 grant from the Football Foundation and £180,000 from Salford Community Leisure, the improvements have enabled a state-of-the-art football and rugby facility to be built including one seven-a-side and four five-a-side pitches.
It is now the home of the new JP League which is affiliated to the Manchester Football Association and provides qualified referees for all matches, thus delivering better standards in officiating.
Councillor Paula Boshell Salford City Council's lead member for neighbourhoods, culture and leisure said, "With the grant received from the Football Foundation, the contribution from Salford Community Leisure and the continued support of the Manchester Football Association and many local football teams, we are confident the JP League will be a huge success. Positioned at the heart of the Salford community, the facility is ideally positioned to serve the many people that work in and around Greater Manchester."
KKP is guiding staff responsible for the operational aspects of the JP League on all facets of marketing - from development of a marketing strategy to underpin business objectives, developing an online presence including website and social media, as well as practical PR support to raise awareness of the new venture; locally and across the industry.
