Having just started work on a major national club development and support project for British Wrestling - KKP is set to help the sport capitalise on its increased profile as an Olympic discipline. The aim is to strengthen wrestling as a whole by improving the capacity and sustainability of its network of key clubs across the country.
KKP has just started work on a major national club development and support project for British Wrestling - designed to help the sport capitalise on its increased profile as an Olympic discipline. The aim is to strengthen wrestling as a whole by improving the capacity and sustainability of its core network of key clubs across the country.
It is designed to ensure that the sport and specifically its clubs will be more than ready to accommodate the increased interest and wave of potential new participants expected to be generated by the Games; now less than four months away.

Having produced the Council's previous PPS in 2006, KKP has been appointed to research and deliver a new strategy.
Based in the heart of Scotland, North Lanarkshire, at 47,213 hectares is one of the largest local council areas in the UK.
Incorporating consultation with clubs, community groups, schools, other local authorities and key partners such as sportscotland and the Scottish FA, KKP's audit will encompass all Council and Trust owned/managed school, voluntary and private sector club pitches for a number of sports.

The Clubmark and runningsports programmes, previously operated as separate schemes, have been integrated by Sport England.
From 1st October 2011, the integrated Clubmark and runningsports Programme is being developed, delivered and managed by KKP.
It incorporates Clubmark accreditation (recognising minimum operating standards for sports clubs) and the development of the volunteer and club development resource package (runningsports), with the overall aim of increasing participation in sport.

KKP is to produce a playing pitch strategy and action plan for Derry City Council, based upon a thorough assessment of the supply and demand of sports pitches within the area.
KKP's work will provide Derry City Council with a clear strategic framework for improvement, investment and protection of its playing pitch facilities.
Given the background against which the playing pitch strategy is being commissioned (allowing for Sport NI strategies, the regeneration plan for the City, the changes in planning policy and gain in terms of more responsibility at a local level etc), KKP will ensure the assessment is sufficiently robust enough to stand up to scrutiny.

Via a combination of strategic advice and practical campaign management, KKP's in-house marketing experts are assisting Salford Community Leisure to launch an innovative new scheme.
Five new football pitches have been built at Salford Sports Village on a former training pitch and tarmac area, Funded by a £50,000 grant from the Football Foundation and £180,000 from Salford Community Leisure, the improvements have enabled a state-of-the-art football and rugby facility to be built including one seven-a-side and four five-a-side pitches.

Preston's Physical Activity and Sport Strategy underpins its 98% QUEST rating.
Preston City Council has worked with KKP on successive strategy developments since 2002. It's most recent; 2010-2015 ‘refreshed' version, produced in consultation with the City's SPAA partners, reflected its status as European City of Sport in 2012 and set the target of achieving the greatest increases in levels of physical activity and sport in the North West from the City's current baseline.
