Knight, Kavanagh and Page has recently been commissioned to support two major projects to develop sports villages for local authorities in Merseyside and Teesside.
Middlesbrough Council will work with KKP to assess the feasibility of a sports village complex on a major site in the Prissick area of the town linked to new housing and infrastructure development.
Having produced the Council's previous PPS in 2006, KKP has been appointed to research and deliver a new strategy.
Based in the heart of Scotland, North Lanarkshire, at 47,213 hectares is one of the largest local council areas in the UK.
Incorporating consultation with clubs, community groups, schools, other local authorities and key partners such as sportscotland and the Scottish FA, KKP's audit will encompass all Council and Trust owned/managed school, voluntary and private sector club pitches for a number of sports.
