Specialist areas
- Site visits and detailed appraisals of open spaces, play provision, green grid/networks, conservation sites, wildlife areas/nature reserves, outdoor sports facilities, playing pitches and built sports, arts, cultural and community facilities.
- Telephone research.
- In-situ consultation with local groups (individual interviews, focus groups and related community consultation).
Expertise
Tim Roberts, Noell Leather and Anne Dawkins form KKP's dedicated in-house team of researchers. They are, supported by John Bradford, responsible for the conduct of site visits and telephone research; a key team supporting project delivery. Each has extensive experience of undertaking open space assessments. In the past year they have conducted in excess of 3,000 site visits (covering all nine PPG17 typologies) and a comparable number of telephone interviews. They also conduct community consultation to collate information and resident opinion.
